Management System for Chain of Restaurants
This German project aims to improve the personnel management system and sales management, similar to what different ERP systems do, though with extensive custom integrations. Our team member joined the distributed team of the project, with team members located in different countries and continents. With the tremendous experience of different technical integrations, it wasn't a problem for us to get to speed quickly and be productive from day 1. We took on multiple different technical challenges. One of those included integrating the Personio service for synchronizing changes to employees' personal data. Another example is a server configuration of client notifications with Http2 and SSE (Server Sent Events). As a whole, an entire system was created to notify managers about changes in employee data and corrections in sales amounts. In addition to technical aspects, we advocate the best development process standards, suggest process improvements, and generate ideas to increase developer velocity and overcome coordination and communication challenges in a distributed team.
